Description
Earthworms are the farmer’s oldest friend — krishoker bondhu kencho. They turn dung, leaves and crop waste into vermicompost, and their tunnels let air and water into the soil. We raise two species used for composting:
- Eisenia fetida (red wiggler) — hardy, breeds fast, works well in cooler weather.
- Eudrilus eugeniae (African nightcrawler) — larger and fast-working, suited to warm, humid weather.
Why it’s not in the cart
Live earthworms need careful timing, packing and a bed ready to receive them. So we arrange every lot personally — tell us where you are, how many kg you need and what you’ll feed them, and we’ll confirm availability, packing and delivery on WhatsApp.
Free for eligible farmers
We promote earthworms and the desi cow on every farm. Farmers who follow natural farming with our guidance and join the Aranyaveda farmer network can get earthworms free of cost to start their own worm bed. Our team will explain who is eligible.
